Using Promotional Calendars

Calendars can be used for a number of different things

. They are primarily used to display the current date, as well as any pertinent information for that date, such as a holiday, birthday or anniversary to name but a few. They are used in homes and offices around the world on a daily basis and help people keep track of different events they have on their schedule.

Some companies have discovered a new use for calendars and have begun using them as a unique method of advertising. This type of advertising is often referred to as Promotional Calendars and has many advantages over other methods or advertising applications in that it can be configured to display any amount of information a company desires.

Using calendars to promote opportunities of interest is something that has been a possibility for quite a few years now; however most companies overlook this method of advertising and miss out on a golden opportunity. These products can be used to display individual sales events that take place throughout the year, alerting and enticing customers to come do further business during those periods. Annual sales events are often huge endeavors aimed at reducing the current stock and making room for the new products that will be offered in the future.

Monthly sales events can also be displayed on the pages of Promotional Calendars letting customers know what products will be offered at discount during the specified period. Month long sales promotions displayed properly allow the customer the choice of deciding when to make a trip to the store and enjoy the savings on the products they want.

Weekly sales events can also be advertised on the pages of a calendar showing customers and clients the advantage of shopping with the store or business on a weekly basis as opposed to buying everything at once. It is common knowledge that additional foot traffic results in additional sales. People often go on a shopping mission with a particular set of items in mind and once in the store they end up buying things they didnt realize they wanted or needed. Hosting weekly sales events makes this more of a probability than a simple possibility.

Daily sales events can also be advertised in calendars as can pertinent information regarding the business or associates themselves. Each month of the calendar can be used to display a specific item the store offers, or they can be used to display an associate that has accomplished something of importance, or as a simple way to introduce the staff to any potential customers so they know exactly who they are speaking to when making contact by phone.

Calendars are also advantageous places to display contact information for the store itself, or for the associates affiliated with the store. This provides the benefit of having the correct contact information readily at hand as opposed to having to search for the information in a phone book. Customers enjoy having the information they need at their fingertips, it makes the process of decision making less complicated.
