Using Staff To Update Website

Years ago, when the net just started, it is common to employ people skilled in building and maintaining website

. At that time, to be someone who knows how to build or edit content on webpage, you have to go to school and be trained in programming language. The learning curve is steep and hard and with the occasional bugs that could be generated when someone write the wrong command. It is certainly a gruesome task and also a task that cost a lot of time and money.

Years later, when technology advances, creating and maintaining website isnt as hard as it used to be anymore. It is so easy even children with an internet access and computer could easily build a website and edit it to some extent. All this is made possible by tools which were developed as time passes by to make it easier for beginner. The first tool is a page maker. Page maker is just a simple program that helps beginner to create website the way they want it without the need to know all the codes. It is just like using adobe where you could resize images, change background colors or pattern, and do text editing.

The advantages of using web editor are: it saves time, easy to use, money saving. In the past, the only way for you to create a web page is either by learning how to make it yourself, or hire a teenager to build it for you, or maybe hire a professional to make a good webpage. The result from using the first 2 options however, may cost your business money as the web may tend to be unprofessionally made. But now there is the option of using web editor. Using web editor is so much easier compared to manually building your page.

The advantages shared by both page maker and web editor are that they are so simple it is nearly impossible to have a risk of messing up your existing website or even mess up a newly created website. Additionally it is so much easier to train your staff to use these two tools then training your staff to maintain your website using the old manual way.

There is only small disadvantage of you allowing your staff to maintain your website using page maker or web editor. The fact is to make a good website you have to have the passion to design them. Otherwise if you just throw everything together to make a website, then all you will get is a professional looking but boring website. If this happen, there is no difference between the old hard way of building a website compared to the newly much more efficient and easier to use tools (page maker and web editor).

Simplifying things, these web editor and page maker make it possible for you to outsource your webpage maintenance to your staff or even the kids next door. Gone is the need to hire expensive professional to make and edit your website for you. Thanks to this your website operational cost could go down and that extra cash could be used to further develop your website.
