Many of the videos I shot on the beach in Phuket and Bali generated quite a few views. Emotionally connect with viewers. Inspire them.
Even if you aren't on the beach you can shoot a video in front of the woods, or even a tree. Integrate nature, or perhaps you can shoot a video in a unique urban setting. Make the background visually appealing to grab the viewer's attention, to put your viewers in a dream environment.
2 - Help Your Viewers
Cover topics which help your readers. I share a video on my
cash gifting capture page which discusses the concept behind gifting. Visitors know the proper mindset to adopt to prosper with the activity.
Solve problems. Prospects view you as a problem solver. "How to" or "5 Tips" videos do well. Help people, people come to you for help, and some of these folks partner with you.
3 - Practice
You might hate your voice or how you appear on video at first. Get through these blocks by practicing. I hated how I sounded and didn't care for my appearance on video but 800 videos later I am comfortable shooting videos.
Practice develops confidence to the point where you enjoy shooting videos. Shoot at least 2 videos a week in the beginning. Increase your rate over time. As your confidence grows, the quality of your videos improve and you generate more leads.
4 - Short and Sweet
Video length should be 3 to 5 minutes. The average attention span fades out after a few seconds. Say what you have to say and exit stage left. One common error is to spend 1 to 2 minutes setting up the topic. Most people want you to deliver quickly on your title.
Cut the set up phase down. Get to the meat of the matter quickly. Your viewers appreciate it and your leads grow.
5 - Shoot Videos of You
The power of branding lies in viewers seeing you. Shoot videos of yourself, to prove your real. Upload a few tutorial type videos where viewers only hear your voice, but appear in most of your videos to power your brand.
Viewers want to see *you* speaking. Viewers want you to make eye contact with the camera. Put yourself in front of the cam and chat away.
