Using a Pallet Bander on Galvanized Steel Strapping Seals

While there are a lot of methods on securing a payload pallet loaded with loose or tipping cargo, nothing works as good as the pallet bander, which is a tool for sealing strappings. Galvanized steel trapping seals is perhaps the strongest kind of pallet banding. However, plastic strapping seals have become popular for lightweight payloads, as long as the cargo have no shard and hard edges that might cut or snap the strapping apart.

In order to use a pallet bander to seal galvanized steel strappings, first, pull enough strapping from the roll to make a whole wrap of it around the payload pallet and its cargo. Wound the strapping through the open side and underneath the pallet, then between the top and bottom boards. Also, you have to place the tensioner on the top part of the pallet cargo.

Next, take the steel banding around the payload pallet and cargo toward the tensioner. You have to squeeze the tensioner handle in order to raise the wheel and place the galvanized steel banding into the open slot.

Then, you have to put the galvanized steel strapping seals into the tensioner with its end underneath the wheel, which is facing away from the pallet bander and on the top of the other end. You have to make sure that you follow through the instructions exactly and as is.

After doing all of that, you have to pump the handle of the tensioner until the steel banding seals are tight enough and not loose. Open the handles of the seal tool, then put the seals in the tool's jaws.

You have to slide the galvanized steel strapping seals onto the banding in front of the tools. Similarly, you have to make sure that both the top and the bottom pieces of the galvanized steel banding seals are correctly set in the clip. Then, squeeze the tool handles together to crimp the seal onto the galvanized steel banding seals. Lastly, check all components if they are properly placed upon. If so, then the cargo is ready to be shipped out without any worries.
