Even the deadly H5N1 bird flu and Swine Flu are successfully annihilated. Other products, like the HEPA purifier, are limited to sterilizing the air by eradicating bacteria. They are not successful in eradicating viruses.

Disinfection is the process of reducing populations of microorganisms while sterilization is the process of killing microorganisms. Sterilization occurs upon exposure to light that is 10,000 stronger than of the sun. This occurrence is temporary, bacteria can flourish again after some time.
