. Organized by Metropolis Music and SJM Concerts, V Festival is held at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in South Staffordshire simultaneously. V Festival sites share the same line-up, artists perform at one location on Saturday and then swap on Sunday. The 'V' represents the Virgin Group, with V Festival being sponsored by Virgin Media.

V Festival will be held in the penultimate weekend of August on 21-22 August 2010. Kasabian and Kings of Leon will headline the V Festival UK, which takes place at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire. Performers at the 15th anniversary V festival will also include Florence And The Machine, Stereophonics, Faithless, The Prodigy, Cheryl Cole, Pet Shop Boys, Madness, Editors, Mika, Groove Armada, The Charlatans, Amy Macdonald, Kate Nash, Paloma Faith, Plan B, Sugababes, Paul Weller, Paolo Nutini and many more.
