V and S Spray Adhesive and 100% Green Sprays

Using current technology both in adhesive compounding and aerosol packaging, Adhesives Solutions, Inc. has recently developed a true "GREEN" aerosol spray adhesive. V&S 1226 Water Based Foam & Fabric Spray Adhesive, this spray produces bonds with foam tearing strength. It is specially formulated for bonding flexible foams to themselves or other materials such as: wood, metal, paper, fabrics, corrugated, etc. Outstanding Features: fast tack, non-dimpling glue lines, heat resistance. They back up the "GREEN" claim satisfactorily; using an adhesive that is 100% water base and a propellant that is an inert gas (something we breath every day). In addition, the product is 100% recyclable. Not just the product, but the carton - can - cap and all internal components. There is no fear of overburdening our landfill by throwing the can away. Simply save it and put it in with your recyclable waste. The only one of its' kind on the market today.

In 1986 Adhesive Solutions (at that time V & S Sales) recognized the need for an affordable, workable spray adhesive. One that would satisfy the needs of industry for bonding myriad substrates. Understanding at the time, the only line of spray adhesive products available were those manufactured by 3M. Though these products were exceptional in their performance, they were also exceptionally high priced. Several attempts were made to create similar products through local manufactures. Our first attempt was very successful. Adhesive Solutions duplicated the performance characteristics of 3M Foam & Fabric Spray Adhesive. Knowing the products would not be easily accepted, let alone recognized, they offered them in a different size container. This packaging concept helped reduce cost, therefore allowing them to offer a much better selling price to the customer. Since that time the products have become, not only recognized, but readily accepted and most times preferred.

For over 25 years, Adhesive Solutions has offered many different types of adhesives, both in bulk and aerosol form. Their V & S brand of aerosol adhesive is considered the benchmark when compared to competitive products. These aerosols have been produced in the traditional way by using hydrocarbon propellants and solvent base adhesives. Though these components meet current air quality guidelines, they are nonetheless and to a certain degree ozone depleters.
