VW Crafter in Scotland

My friends and I are planning a road trip to Scotland; we want to start from the southernmost end to the northern end with a trip to the west too

. We would start off at Dumfries, stopover at Oban and then head to Wick.

We have been debating amongst us what car to take with us, the three of us have our own personal cars which would comfortably make the trip but we want a headache free road trip, so we decided to hire a car so if it does breakdown it won't be a headache while on this mini holiday.

We went through our requirements; it had to be comfortable, economical and suited to twisty A' roads as well as long motorways. We considered 4x4s such as the Range Rover, hatchbacks such as the Ford Focus and even thought about a VW Crafter in Scotland.

A week before our trip we finally booked our mode of transport, a Toyota Prius comfortable, reliable and very economical. We're very excited about our little mini road trip; we plan to do it in 3 days (a long weekend) so we will be on the move constantly. Exciting!!!!
