Renting a place from an owner has many advantages for many reasons:

3.Safer to Stay. Vacation rentals privately owned are generally safer to stay than most commercial places, especially when you are staying in places like Asia in the rural areas. Scenic spots are fantastic, and yet you are not sure of the environment. Families tend to protect their guests. You have to check the environment by asking and reading on reports.

Though most vacation rentals owned by owners are paid in deposit with one two months deposit, common globally, you can still get your deposited amount less other auxiliary expenses like laundry, housekeeping, food and parking fees. In some privately owned vacation rentals, the deposit is consumable; not refundable in cash. What is important is you read your contract very well before paying and signing.

5.Emergency Cases. In case you get sick during your tour around the city or while vacationing, families are usually helpful. They can provide you with medicines and first aid, and can even send you to the hospital in cases of real emergency. You have to be responsible enough to have yourself checked by the doctor before going to an exotic place for vacationing. Take Malaria shots if necessary. If you are planning to bring your family around, be sure that they know the risks of visiting exotic places.

6.Home Cooked Food. Vacation Rentals by owner may serve home cooked food. You can request to have some food cooked for you with a reasonable food cost. Sometimes they also give you a welcome food, like salad and mango juice, upon arriving from your travels. It is good to ask for the price, when its delivered at your doorstep, it is a welcoming gift

7.Car Rentals, if you need one, do not hesitate to ask. Most vacation rentals have garage where you can park your car with a minimal fee. Some even have car rentals where you can rent for a reasonable price, it is just a matter of asking.
