It wasn't that tidy or 'put together' but so distinctive! Got there by boat and experienced a wonderful hike around the town and a very good meal at a reasonable selling price proper over the water. I guess the reality that there are no automobiles and these nifty walking paths make it special.

One particular other end in this Bocas del Toro place that is not to be missed is a hike into the jungle. I took a greater component of a day time hiking from Bocas Bound along the beach and sooner or later into the jungle. This was possibly the highlight of my Panama vacation. Birds of all sorts, a caiman, sloth, small red frogs with black spots (apparently observed only on the island of Bastimentos) and huge trees and plants, ferns and palms. Oh my gosh, did I mention surfing? This Bocas del Toro place is intended to have some of the greatest in all of Central America (of course I would require to take surf lessons first no huge deal).
