An eddy current drive integrates fixed speed motor and an eddy current clutch. The clutch has fixed speed rotor and an adjustable speed rotor which is separated by a small air gap. The third category of electric adjustable speed drive is AC drive. The main components of this one is to supply the required current and voltage which can be used by the machine. should be provided with the minimum and maximum speed settings, so that the drives get adjusted to the user's process. There are programmable logic controllers which shut itself after detecting any problem.
