Variety of AC Heat Window Units
With the wide variety of the many air conditioners available in the market today, most of us might not be aware or are not yet settled with the best kind of air conditioner to purchase. There exist different kinds of air conditioning systems.
There is the window type air conditioner, the central air conditioner, the portable air conditioner, evaporative coolers, absorptive chillers, single and dual hosed units, and heat and cool units. They can also come in unitary form or in packaged systems form.
The unitary type of air conditioning is advised only when you intend to cool just a small area of the house like a single room or space. It is not advisable to use the unitary window type if you intend to cool many rooms in the house. A centralized type of air conditioning is advised for these setups.
However, if you just intend for a small part of the house to be air conditioned, the unitary type is the most economical and easy to install air conditioners. Among these various kinds of air conditioners, the most recommended kind would be the one that can be used for all seasons. This is usually the window type of air conditioning with a heat pump.
This unit can be used both in the hot or cold season. It acts as a cooling machine when the weather is hot and acts as a heating machine when the weather is cold.
The AC Heat Window Unit pumps cold air to the room in the summer and pumps warm air to the room in the winter. With this unit, you can say goodbye to the profuse sweating in the summer season and the chilly evenings in the winter season. Having an air conditioner indeed makes life more comfortable.
This is made possible with the use of two kinds of heat exchangers inside the unit. One component, the evaporator, is responsible for cooling the air while the condenser is the one responsible for warming the air. Their positions are usually reversed depending on the intended function.
When you need to cool, the evaporator is up front and absorbs the heat releasing it outside through the condenser. When you need to warm the room, it is the condenser that is in front. The evaporator absorbs the heat from outside and is passed to the condenser, releasing the heat inside the room.
