Vauxhall warranty creates a life-long partnership!
Vauxhall warranty creates a life-long partnership!
Vauxhall have within recent months announced that all over their Vauxhall dealerships and car dealers selling Vauxhall vehicles will have to make way for the new Lifetime Warranty being offered on all new car sales, as from August 2010.
With immediate effect from the time of the statement just four months ago, British car manufacturer Vauxhall have completely overturned their customer thinking and have even bypassed competitors such as Kia with their new warranty details. South American car manufacturer Kia's current warranty stands at just a mere 7 years in comparison to the Lifetime' that Vauxhall are now offering.
There are specific guidelines for using or becoming eligible for the lifetime warranty including a compulsory, but free visit to the local Vauxhall dealership once a year for a check-up'. This simple check-up' as Vauxhall are calling it, includes a thorough look at the powertrain, steering and braking system as well as other electrical equipment and body-kit, similar to that of a service.
The warranty does exclude wear and tear anywhere on the vehicles inside or out, and is also restricted to a limiting maximum threshold of just 100,000 miles which some would argue- is not a lifetime.
The new warranty is not currently transferrable from first owners to second and so on; however the manufacturer is set to announce further details of a warranty bracket that will enable second owners to purchase the lifetime warranty for their vehicle.
This warranty obviously does not extend to your used Vauxhall. Birmingham and the rest of the UK will just have to wait for the other bracket if they are not eligible.
