There will be other options included, such as touch screens and keypads. They will need to know how large or small the phone will be and how much it will weigh.

A group of people will choose different prototypes. Prototypes have no function in regard to the device. They are just there for display purposes only. They are made from Styrofoam and plastic materials for the most part. The final design will go to the engineers who will put in the electronics needed to operate the phone.

Electronics are needed in order for the any phone including US Cellular Cell Phones to operate. They are considered the control command for every function of the phone. It calls the phone numbers and other related tasks. There are three parts to Verizon Cellular phones in regard to electronics. There's the battery, screen and a printer circuit. Programmers design software that is made specifically to work in these phones. They will include functions such as a calendar, a clock and text messaging.

There are separate pieces for each mobile phone that is being manufactured. Verizon Cellular Phones, like all devices, have casings that need to be created. The casing is made during a process called injection molding where a piece of plastic material is used. The software and operating system is installed into a printed circuit board. The board goes into the casing.

Other components including the screen, keypad, antenna, microphone and the speaker are added next. The mobile device has to be tested after it is put together. The battery is placed in the phone. The phone is tested to see if the battery has enough juice to operate it. It is also tested to make sure that the device will have a good reception for dialing and talking. The corresponding paperwork is processed and included with US Cellular Cell Phones when they are ready to be packaged.

Once it's all said and done, the mobile phone is sent on its way to various retail stores that sell them. It has to pass each part of the manufacturing process before they can get the seal of approval to be sold in stores. It's important that each person involved in the manufacturing process of the mobile phones make sure that everything is in place before they get shipped out.
