Viral Gate is a unique marketing concept designed to increase website traffic by blocking access to that website. This concept has been used successfully on social media sites like Facebook to prevent visitors from viewing a popular website unless they bring other visitors back with them. I had never heard of the concept before and was really rather skeptical that it would be effective.
