The Guadalajara province of Spain is located towards the north of Alcala de Henares. The province has been the focal point of massive bombings that took place during the Civil War and reduced Guadalajara into ruins. It took centuries to turn Guadalajara into an industrial city but even today, the province reflects its historic past and has become an important area of travel for those who like to take a dip into the past.
