Looking for a great ELCA church in the Seattle area? I like to recommend Faith Lutheran Church off of Lake town Way and 82nd. I've been an affiliate there my whole life and my grandparents helped found the church, so I am admittedly a little biased, but we have great coffee, potlucks and heaps of fun Martin Luther trappings on display - so you know we are serious!

Our growing congregation has a lot to offer, with fun-loving and committed members who take time to participate in our adult Sunday school hour at 9:15 Sunday mornings. If you have children, they are very much welcome to sit and listen to our Sunday services. There is also a free childcare for infants and toddlers during worship. While children are encouraged to sit in sanctuary during the service, you can comfortably leave with your child anytime to go to the 'cry room' when you need to tend him or her. The cry room is situated at the back of the church so you can still watch the service through the window and hear it over the loudspeakers.

For young adults and singles (university age and up), we have a dedicated youth priest who plans fun pub theology nights. There are also separate groups for high school youth and for middle college scholars that incorporates a great confirmation program.

On Sundays we have two morning services at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM. There is also an education hour for children and adults in between. There is a great deal to enjoy, so come and get ready to sing some of your favorite hymns with our wonderful choir under the supervision of Nan Beth Walton, our music director who also arranges the many pieces for the orchestra and handbell choir to perform.

Whether you are a lifelong Lutheran, new to Seattle area, or simply looking for a faith community in North Seattle, we are more than happy to welcome you. Your coming to attend the community makes it very worthwhile and uplifts us all. Our guests are always welcomed warmly and after the service, come to coffee hour, enjoy flavorsome treats and get the chance to know even more people.
