The days you choose to not go elsewhere on Oahu, Waikiki is the perfect place to enjoy its palm trees, beaches, and turquoise waters. Although Sun Screens offer good protection, they do not last as long as it is believed. When not playing with the ocean waves, it is advisable to wear a t-shirt and a hat with a wide wing to cover the neck area. It is a wise measure for kids, older people, and folks with more sensitive skin. There are restrooms and showers of easy access when on the beach.

When visiting Hawaii, remember that Oahu is an island in which drinkable and potable water is limited. So please, in consideration to local people, limit the duration of showers you take at the beach and in the hotel.
