Visiting Horton-in-ribblesdale In The Yorkshire Dales

Horton-In-Ribblesdale is a village situated in the Ribble Valley 6 miles from Settle

, North Yorkshire. The village is located within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Within the town are 2 village pubs, a post office, convenience store and tea rooms. The peak of Pen-y-Ghent is seen to tower over the village.

Walking and mountain biking are popular activities in the area due to its locality between the 3 Yorkshire Peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside.
