4. Rembrandt House Museum

Amsterdam was home to Rembrant for many years, and this museum is housed in the actual building that he lived in for nearly two decades. The house is located on Jodenbreestraat, right in the centre near to the Waterlooplein, and the interior has been reconstructed to look exactly as it would have done when the artist lived here in the 17th century. There is also a large collection of his etchings on display.
