Waterproof connectors are provided for easily installing the visor emergency light and connect it, if need be to other emergency lighting units such as dash and deck lights. Up to 4 or 6 AWG wires are sometimes provided. These wires and AMP connectors have a very small diameter and can be handled with ease. If you don't prefer Velcro straps, you can also go for slide bolts or suction cups. Custom designed, L brackets are also provided for certain types of cop vehicles, for maximum ease of installation.

One thing that makes the visor warning lights highly effective is their ability to be plugged in with other emergency lighting units so that their flash patterns can be synchronized. For example, you can connect a visor light with a deck light mounted with the help of upper rear window bracket and then make both of these synchronize in unison to pass the same warning signal or message to interceptors. The flashy sequence patterns programmed into the visor emergency light can be operated with ease as well thanks to push button, pattern selection switches. Self-contained electronics ensure that the visor lights have the benefit of these flashy patterns without the need to use an external device. The visor lights are also provided with swivel bracket kits, cigar plug cord kits and optional flanges.

You can pick a visor emergency light from 6 inches in length to over 16 inches in length, depending upon the vehicle and the internal space available. The visor warning lights are extremely slim with a thickness not exceeding 1-3/4 inches. Depending on the length of the unit, the number of LEDs varies as well from 6 to 12 or sometimes even more. Interesting features of modern visor lights include inboard linear LED modules and multimode synchronization. You can also go for split flashing where, different segments of the same unit can give you different sequences. Some visor units even have split segments with multi-colored LEDs.
