One of the most significant vitamins that help us have healthy body and mind is the vitamin B12

. It is also good to know that one of its most significant roles is the creation of healthy red blood cells, which is the greatest prevention from heart diseases. It also helps the immune system to be efficient at its maximal levels. And amongst many other matters, this vitamin has a preservative role for all the nerve cells we have.

The vitamin B12 is of the essence for other things as well, not only for the creation of red blood cells. All our cells want this vitamin, both blood and nerve cells. As we speak about the nerve cells the vitamin B12 does an important protective role, it basically works like a a protective shield against damages and diseases.

Counting all the gains we have from vitamin B12 it is a surprise that the recommended day-to-day ingestion of this vitamin is very low. And besides there are many people that take more than the recommended everyday dose. It can be a trouble, since the body cannot take in the vitamin easy. On the other hand, deficiency of vitamin B12 is infrequent in great part of the population because the body can reprocess the B12 vitamin that has already been absorbed in our body. Yet, this doesn't mean that it is not possible.

Vitamin B12 insufficiency can induce anemia with some people. That is why it is critical to make the minors take plenty of vitamin B12. As we know, youngsters are sometimes problematic when taking food is in question, and because of the importance of this vitamin we should make them eat various foods as much as they can. Don't think this is the case only with vitamin B12. This also applies for important vitamins and minerals.
