Vixskin vs. Cyberskin - What You Need to Know
As new adult toys come out on the market, manufacturers are competing to come up with the most realistic synthetic skin texture possible while at the same time ensuring that the resulting toys are safe for use with the body. Two newly innovated synthetic skin textures have been made by Topco-Sales in the way of CyberSkin and by Vixen Creations with a substance called VixSkin. Each purports to be the ultimate in real skin technology, but are they really any different from one another, or from other similar technologies?
On the surface, both CyberSkin and VixSkin appear to be very similar. Each purports to be so lifelike and similar to the skin on our bodies that you "can't tell the difference". VixSkin is said, on the manufacturer's website to be truly "worth every inch"'. CyberSkin has the amazing look and feel of real skin'. Both manufacturers claim that their technology is the absolute best in synthetic skin technology, and frankly, when compared with other types of the same material from other companies, it could be wagered at the very least, that they are both at the head of the line when it comes to this sort of toy tech.
VixSkin is made with a premium grade silicone which has a great degree of flexibility. This flexibility allows the material to be tear-resistant which is something everyone likes to have in their toys. CyberSkin is also made from a similar grade of silicone and, as such, has very similar flexibility properties. Both types of material, VixSkin and Cyberskin, will warm to the heat of the body and as it does so, will become malleable and even more like real flesh as a result. From here, though, each product differs somewhat.
CyberSkin products are made in a slightly different way than VixSkin products which, in turn, creates a slightly different end result. The VixSkin silicone formula is infused with a premium silicone lubricant which is suspended between the molecules' of the base silicone. This is what gives VixSkin its signature realism and elasticity. Cyberskin, on the other hand, seems to be much more versatile in what Topco-Sales can do with it. While the surface skin is just as realistic as that as VixSkin, it's what's under the hood' that makes all the difference in the world.
Where these two products vastly differ is in the manufacture of CyberSkin toys. Topco employs a process called "Dual Density" in the making of their toys which allows for super soft and supple areas that you might find on the labia of a vaginal stroker while employing greater density via computer controlled injection which will, on the same stroker, create a dense area that is as hard as bone to mimic that of the pubic bone. If you're sticking with dongs and regular vibrators, you won't see much difference at the outset from either CyberSkin or VixSkin, but if you're going to be using toys that are more detailed and advanced you really will want to be looking more at CyberSkin toys from Topco.
