What's so wrong with being a work-at-home husband
? For that matter, awork-at-home father? Why should that honor be reserved for thewives?
In today's society, it seems that this "condition" is viewed as anabnormal situation being a work from home husband. People, when they hear this term, assume that theaforementioned individual is really just out of work and only hoping for success online. Or, He's a deadbeat, gold digger, maybe just a plain slob. I know, many of us havebeen accused of this. It is only when they learn why we husbands work fromhome, or they learn of my particular background, that they really accept (orpretend to), the concept of finding real success online.
You see folks, I am an ex-NFL football player, and newly inductedmember of the 2009 class of the College Football Hall of Fame, who hasnever been satisfied with what the typical 9 to 5 J.O.B. has to offerus. Plus when you consider that my lovely wife who, suffers from
dibilitating Crohn's desease, coupled with regular epileptic seizuresand my 11-year-old daughter is autistic that one can see thewhole story. The short and the long of it is that they need aroundthe clock attention So you can understand why I am a work at homehusband and father. My family needs me to stay close to home at alltimes. So that's what I do. I work when I want, and I take care ofthe needs of my two girls whenever the need arises. I am proud towork out of my home just as you may being wanting or needing to as well. And as I watch my neighbors get up every morningto head to work, I snicker to myself, and I snicker all the way to thebank. I am a work-at-home husband who finally realized that success onlinecomes from solid training (just like football), solid mentoring and coaching (football again...)and the willingness to do the hard work...JUST LIKE FOOTBALL.
Listen, I don't know what your motivations are, but you are obviously
looking for some validation or simply success online. If you value my opinion, and I hope youwill, you are going in the right direction. With the internet at ourdisposal, 24/7 and 365 days a year, becoming a husband or a father whoworks at home is entirely possible. There are literally thousands ofopportunities available to anyone. Whether it be through MLM,
affiliate marketing, Ebay, Amazon, or marketing a product or
service of your own making, if you do your research and put forth theeffort to learn, the sky is the limit. You need dedication anddiscipline to succeed online. But the reward is amazing. You workwhen you want, where you want and for as long as you want. And whenyou're not at the computer, the internet continues to work foryou...around the clock...even while you are sleeping.
So, if I can offer any advice to those of you considering awork-at-home carreer. Whether you came here out of neccessity(as Idid), or you just think there is a better way, you need to becommitted. You need to understand that there is a learning curve,just like anything else, and your success is directly related to howquickly and thoroughly you can acquire that knowledge. Nothing comeswithout a little bit of effort, but one needs to remember what therewards and benefits await for those who perservere. When you seeyour efforts start to pay off,. it is one of the most gratifyingfeelings you will ever know. And guess what? You achieved all of itfrom the comfort of your favorite easy chair.
