There are a lot of scholarships out there, including weird and wacky ones. Wacky scholarships can come in the form of knitting, future ghost hunters, water insects and for left handed people to just name a few. There are thousands of odd scholarships out there that anyone can apply for based on uniqueness, odd characteristics, strange hobbies, or unusual skills.

I was unaware of all the unusual scholarships out there until I started looking for ways to pay for school as a single mom. Many wacky scholarships go unclaimed each year because not many people know about them.

Without exceptional grades, the chance of getting a full-blown scholarship is slim. But, not all scholarships are based on academic merit. With wacky scholarships, you have a chance just as well as the next person. They are based on your skills and talent and not your grade point average. Just like any other, there will be forms to fill out for wacky scholarships. But, your chance of receiving one is good.

There are many offers available to anyone that wants to go back to college. The above is just a few of the wacky scholarships I came across on my quest to find free money for college. And, there are money more weird and wacky scholarships out there. Im sure if you conduct an Internet search for your talents, you will come upon a scholarship you can apply for. The Internet is the best place to find these weird and odd opportunities to fund your college education.
