Hiking is a key pastime for many tourists returning to Menorca of the Balearic Islands, because of its totally unspoilt and wild terrain. Menorca has a lot of untouched natural landscape and many virgin beaches which makes Menorca a fabulous place to visit.

Splendid isolation of this area is its key word, with no tourists, and several isolated beaches, which are obviously therefore without facilities, but the experienced walker would be well prepared for that.

If bird watching is your passion, where they are allowed to live and breed without any outside interference, then this is the place to visit with your camera and long range lenses ready for action.

As a magnificent back drop to your peaceful and exhilarating day, where you had left the 21st century behind you, as you had studied nature in its best dress.

With you now watching the sun set in total silence, other than perhaps listening to the gentle murmur of the sea kissing the beach, and you were within visual distance of Car de Favaritx light house, you will see its timeless beam of light flashing out across the sea.
