Now when most people hear Linux they get scared and just look away and go to buy a windows based laptop. There really isnt any reason not to get a Linux based laptop as they are really easy to use and have lots of different programs and can even run windows based programs.
I think windows and Linux both have there good features and there bad features I would say if your happy to try something different then go for the Linux based operating system and if you wanted to stick to the safe windows operating system but remember to make sure you go for a bigger hard drive and more RAM than the Linux based laptops.
