Sometimes the process of electrolysis is also used as a method of hair removal.

SKIN TREATMENT:

Skin care is also taught as a regime of cosmetologist training. This part of the program is also known as esthiology. Special emphasis is given on analysis of the skin type of the client. The job of a cosmetologist requires them to suggest solution to the skin ailments.

Skin care includes the regime of exfoliation, pore cleaning, and many other procedures. There are several ways of treating the client's skin. Some of them include body wraps, hydrotherapy and facials. Chemical treatments are done to a client who wishes to remove dark sun burns from the face.

MAKE UP TRAINING:

Cosmetology training includes make up application on the client's face. They need to have a very good idea about what kind of make up will go with the client's face, personality and with the attire that the client will flaunt.

A cosmetologist needs to know the type of make up that will match the complexion of the client, the shades that will highlight the features etc. The bottom line is that the make up done should compliment the client in every way.

NAIL TREATMENT:

Cosmetology training also includes nail treatment. They are taught how to do manicure and pedicure. The hands and feet are soaked in lukewarm water mixed in mild soap. The cuticles are removed and the nails are given proper shape.

Nail care is the final step that is included in the curriculum of cosmetology training.
