Want Your Own Life Blueprint? Heres How To Dream It, Build It Live It!
Several years ago, my husband and I had the opportunity to build our current home "from the ground up" as they say
. In thinking about this process, I realized the importance of having a blueprint. Wouldn"t it be fabulous to have a life blueprint to assist you the same way a construction blueprint does?
The benefit of having a plan of any kind is that it"s gives you a pre-determined guide to follow. You have a realistic idea of what you can expect. It"s all been planned ahead of time and all you have to do is basically follow it. On occasion, you will need to make tweaks and adjustments due to unexpected surprises. However, the heavy lifting has already been done for you. A blueprint keeps you on track, focused and on schedule. You can track the progress based on the projected timeline.
Wouldn"t it be fabulous we all received a custom set of instructions at birth? Unfortunately, this is just a fantasy as we can"t go out and purchase a life blueprint. And we can"t order one online as appealing as that may be. The welcome news is that you can create your own life blueprint, customized especially for you. Finally, you can become the architect with an opportunity to design your ideal lifestyle.
Before getting started, see your vision.
DREAM IT!
Before you can create a life blueprint, you"ve got to have a vision for your life. This is perhaps the biggest barrier because most people don"t know what they want. However, they can quickly tell you what they don"t want.
Imagine your possibilities, don"t censor yourself. Imagination is an adult tragedy. Instead, exercise your imagination. So before you can move to the next step, you have to see yourself living the way you would like to.
What does a life that gives you joy look and feel like to you? How would you spend your nights, your vacations and most importantly, your life currency? Yes, your life"s energy is the most valuable currency available and most people are simply squandering it.
Once this step is crystal clear, and you have a vision in place for your life, you can move on to the next phase.
BUILD IT!
It"s time to get started on the building process for your life blueprint. Most people jump the gun here and ask the question "how". Asking a how question before you are clear on your reason why will cause you to stay stuck. The WHAT comes before the HOW.
Know that the HOW will always come, once you know your WHAT and your reason WHY. Your vision and clarity comes first. To build the lifestyle you want, you must have a compelling reason. What excites you? What motivates you? What do you want to move away from? What is most important to you in life? Continue asking these questions and then finally ask, "why do I want this?"
Once you are super clear on the reasons you want something, make it compelling. It has to be something that excites you to keep you going through the rough patches.
When you are committed, you will find an endless supply of how-to information. There"s an abundance of information especially with the internet at your fingertips 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Don"t attempt to build your life blueprint before you know the reason WHY you want to.
As you gain clarity, it will be a delightful surprise how the universe conspires FOR you. It will bring people, opportunities and the prized "how-to" information to build your custom designed life blueprint.
LIVE IT!
So many people simply go through the motion of living life. They live the way they do because they don"t know any other way to live. They simply drift through life rather than living their lives on purpose. You"ve taken time and effort to build your life blueprint, don"t honor it by not living it.
This means not worrying about the past or living in the future. Live in the here and now, because that"s all you have. Regardless of whether you live to be 100, life is still short.
We only have a brief time on the stage of life and it"s time we took a starring role in the movie called "My Life". You can"t rewind to the past and you can"t fast forward to the future unless you have access to a time machine. If so, drop me an email so we can be time travelers together.

Become conscious of the right now, Dream it, built it and finally live it. As clich as it sounds, living life now is truly the present. Life is a wonderful work in progress. Be mindful that you will need to be resilient to make changes as the opportunities present themselves. You can find success and enjoy the journey of life.
