Was The Great Pyramid Of Giza A Water Pump?
Wood was burnt in the upper chamber inside the Great Pyramid
, and this chamber was meant to be an ancient gas furnace. Archeologists claim that the Great Pyramid was a tomb or religious worship place, but this is not the case. I've been to Europe and seen the Cathedrals, they are massive, and proof that civilizations will squander time and resources building massive religious edifices.
The problem is that most temples are clearly and obviously identified as temples. The Great Pyramid contains many peculiar interior features which would not be needed if the structure was simply built for worship.
The shafts are one example. Two point eight million stones were required to build the Great Pyramid, each weighing two tons. They are all aligned with such precision that there is not even an inch of drift. The Great Pyramid was 38 stories high with its capstone. Truly try to imagine primitive workers quarrying and placing two point eight million stones to such heights with such exacting specifications.
Now add a shaft. A shaft which must begin on the outside of the pyramid, and penetrate to the center of the pyramid. Hundreds of blocks must now hove grooves carved in them which line up with precision of less than a thousandth of an inch. Would such a feature really have been included if the structure was merely for homage to some primitive God?
Not a chance.
The shafts, and other features including the King's Chamber, Queen's Chamber, and Grand Gallery, suggest a purpose other than worship. They suggest a device that was some sort of machine, or which served some engineering purpose?
What could that purpose be?
The Nile River was the key to Egypt's prosperity. The Nile created the most fertile farmland in the world when it flooded each year. Egypt was the bread supplier of much of the ancient world. A modern analogue for the Nile basin is the great plains of North America.
It has been suggested that the Great Pyramid was actually a two phase pump which raised water to a height of almost 30 stories via the shafts. Aqueducts would have then caught water, and their gradual downward slope would have transported away from the pyramid to the surrounding plains without need for further pumps. The Great Pyramid thus would have been an agricultural watering device that made the flood plains larger than normal.
Some dispute the pump theory. They may be right. Regardless, the Great Pyramid was not a temple. Nor was it a tomb. It was a mechanical device or machine which served some mechanical purpose. That purpose will have to be deduced if we are to ever have conclusive answers about the Great Pyramid.
The upper chamber would have burned wood, using up air, creating a low pressure region that sucked water upward. Though not intended to heat, as a gas furnace, it was an enclosed region which burned fuel and created tremendous heat, like a gas furnace. Thus the King's Chamber would have been one stage of a pump, and the Queen's chamber would have been a second phase.
