Choosing a new washing machine or tumble dryer should be based on your requirements, if there is only one or two of you in your household then you wont need a very big washing machine, a 6kg load is the usual amount of laundry in a typical household but for those who have larger households it would be much more economical to get all of your washing in a larger machine that can get the job done in one go. There are ways in which you can save money on washing machines, especially since they cost a large sum to buy already. There are other appliances that the size requirement applies to such as dishwashers and refrigerators so when buying a new model make sure its only as big as you need it to be.
