Barbara Walters ABC prime time specials have been compelling tv for years. She always brings on the show the most interesting people in the world who have captivated audiences throughout the year and get up close and personal. This year she is showcasing 2 hours of special interviews. The first hour is dedicated to Oprah Winfrey called Oprah The Next Chapter and the second hour Walters is interviewing the 10 most fascinating people of 2010. Both hours are sure to be watched by millions.

On the interview with Oprah Walters will talk with her about the past 25 years of reigning as the Queen of daytime talk shows. What has already been fascinating about one of the questions that Walters will ask Oprah is about her relationship with world renowned best friend Gayle King. Some of the her interview with Oprah has already created a buzz around the world as Oprah tried to explain her relationship with Gayle. It has been rumored that the two may have a sexual relationship but Oprah explained away that myth.

The question about her sexuality brought tears to her eyes because she felt like people continue to want an answer to a question that she has already answered. She thinks people do not believe her. Here is how she answered the question.

She then calmly addresses rumors she is a lesbian, saying: Im not a lesbian. Im not even kind of a lesbian. And the reason why it irritates me is because it means that somebody must think I am lying. Thats number one. Number two: why would you want to hide it? That is not the way I run my life.

In the special, Walters introduces the clip with the following line: We asked her what I thought was a simple question about her relationship with her best friend Gayle King. She then quizzes Oprah on the nature of their strong friendship: A lot of women have close friends, very few have friends as close as yours. Describe that friendship to me.Oprah says of Gayle: The clip reveals Oprahs thoughts on Gayle, with her saying: She is the mother I never had. She is the sister everybody would want. She is the friend that everybody deserves. I do not know a better person.

The interview tonight will definitely be something worth seeing considering how Oprah is starting her new network early next year and is putting down her daytime talk show microphone.
