In the social life of John stagnant and his former wife about to be remarried, a down on his luck divorced finally meets the woman of his dreams, only to discover she was with another man in her life - her son. It's like seven years after the breakup of his marriage, John has all but given up on romance. But at the insistence of his former wife and best friend Jamie, John reluctantly agrees to join her and her fianc Tim at a party. To his and everyone else's surprise, he actually manages to meet someone: the lovely and energetic Molly. Their chemistry was immediate.
