In the small fictional town Tree Hill, NC, this teen-driven drama tells the story of two half brothers who share a last name and nothing else. Brooding blue-collar Lucas is a talented basketball player side of the road, but his skills are appreciated only by his friends at the river court. Popular, affluent Nathan washes the hero cult of the city, as the star of his high school team. And the two boys who are sons of former players in college ball is Dan Scott, who long ago choice to Luke and his mother Karen to give up, follow him in his long life with his wife Deb and their children Nathan. Until now, Dan has managed to keep both her sons away from each other. But in the past and present meet sharply when Tree Hill basketball coach recruits Lucas for his team, much to the chagrin of Nathan and Daddy Dan. And the siblings natural rivalry only intensified when they turn their attention to the same girl, Peyton Sawyer. The residue of the past lingers far into the future for the residents of Tree Hill, even though a new generation is rising. Tree Hill's life and loves of two brothers, their friends and family to school, marriage, and finally to adults.

Lucas and Nathan go as enemies but bond as friends and brothers, as the show progress. Lucas best friend 'is Haley James, and it was a love interest for Peyton Sawyer and Brooke Davis at the same time. He was in love with Peyton. His love for both is still a problem in most series, and next to the basketball, his greatest passion is literature, excerpts from the book he reads used in the show. Luke tries to find a balance between basketball and its genetic hypertrophic cardiomyopathy heart disease, and his love life.

This brings the band to spend Thanksgiving with Nathan and Haley with friends and family. Sophia Bush, Austin Nichols, Robert Buckley, Shantel VanSanten and Jackson Brundage as stars.

It seems that Lucas and Nathan, two young men with little in common - except for the dark secret that they have the same father. Arrogant and sure Nathan is the star of the basketball team in high school and came from a rich family in the city. Quiet, brooding and driven, is a loner Luke, the only child of a single-parent mother works. He always kept his distance from Nathan. But their lives collide when a twist of fate, Luke is the team of Nathan. The rumor follows the boys since childhood is now more than whispers of half-brothers compete not only for control of the court but also for the heart of Nathan's girlfriend. So unfolds a deep and bitter conflict for years in the making, one in their homes, their hearts and play on the school as they struggle to come to that they really are - and the fact that "They may have more in common than they believed.
