People are selling those HD DVD's at really low prices right now and if you are someone

that likes movies, you might want to watch out for this happening. And HD DVD can not be played in a regular DVD player and not everyone knows this right away so they end up buying them.

HD DVD's aren't even being made anymore, which is a good thing. Their players used to compete with Blu-ray players for a little bit but they were actually pretty different from each other. In 2008, HD DVD's players ended up shutting down all together and blu-rays came ahead.

If you have an HD DVD player than you are in fact out of luck or in luck depending on how you look at it. Right now just about every movie that was ever made on HD DVD is being sold brand new for a song. On the other hand, no more will be produced, so if you have one of these players you will find that your movie selection will be limited, but the movies that you are able to get will be dirt cheap.

The problem though is that a lot of people are seeing these great prices on HD DVD's and they think that they will work on their regular blu-ray or dvd players so they are buying a ton of them and then finding out that they don't and losing out on money.

If you have HD DVD's or are thinking of buying any, just keep in mind that you can only play them on an HD player and they are no longer being made. So when you are seeing those amazing prices, you need to realize that they are like that for a reason and it is because most people don't have the equipment for them and they really won't work unless you do.
