Parks and Recreation is an American comedy television series that debuted on NBC, April 9, 2009. The series follows Leslie Knop, Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation Department in the fictional town Pawnee, Indiana. Knop takes on a project, a nurse named Ann Perkins refused to turn the building into the well of the park as he tried to pass their way through the politics of local government.
