Resident Evil: Afterlife is the fourth movie of Resident Evil franchise and it is both written and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson. In his film, Mila Jovovich is playing the lead character Alice; Ali Larter is back as Claire and there are some interesting and exciting additions. Shawn Roberts is cast as the very important character of the storyline Albert Wesker and Chris Redfield, brother of Claire is portrayed by Wentworth Miller, who steals every single scene he is in. As it is known by the fans of the previous films and the video games, the world in Resident Evil is invaded by a virus that turns humans into zombie like creatures named Undeads. The evil Umbrella Corporation and the traps of Undead are everywhere. Alice and some of the other survivors are trying their best to save the humans and put an end to the Umbrella Corporation and its cruel use of the Undead. The fourth movie Resident Evil: Afterlife begins with the scenes from Japan. There is some action and destruction which kills all the clones of Alice and she manages to meet Claire. They hear a tip about a place: a safe place where they would not be hunt down by the Undead and this place is in Los Angeles. However, it is not completely true and it is actually a trap set by the Umbrella Corporation. Along with the main characters, we will see Sergio Peris Mencheta as Angel, Siena Guillory as Jill Valentine, Kim Coates as Bennett, Spencer Locke as K-Mart and Boris Kodjoe as Luther. Mila Jovovich is charming and strong as ever, Ali Larter brings more depth and power to her character in this movie. She becomes stronger and more believable with every passing second. Shawn Roberts is one of the shining stars of the movie. The film is in 3D, an actual one; so it will not be disappointing for the fans who wish to experience a decent 3D movie. The story is good, the acting is good, the effects are good; so the only thing to do is to watch this film.
