After the excitement that's been spurred by the unusual search of a lost soul on the ongoing Supernatural season, I simply can't wait for when I'll be able to watch Supernatural season 6 episode 11 "Appointment in Samarra".

The reason is that the hopes from this episode in regard to putting an end to this baffling search are high, considering the fact that this episode marks the mid-season finale of the series.

The previous episode of Supernatural season 6, Caged Heat' gave us a deep insight into what exactly had happened to Sam's soul. If you missed the episode, you can watch its full length version, along with that of any other episodes that you may have missed, online.

We discovered on this episode that Sam's soul was locked with the extremely bored' demons, Michael and Lucifer, which would mean that the fate of Sam's soul was either to be killed or rendered insane or broken.

This concern being voiced by Castiel steered the plot in an entirely different direction. While we all had our hopes laid high on this search, with an anticipation of everything getting back to normal, this revelation turned the tables around, making the situation of the soul being found seem worse than that of it not being found.

But well, it may still be too early to jump to any conclusions, at least not until we watch Supernatural S06E11, which is sure to tie up all the loose ends as the curtain is drawn over the season albeit for a while.

One of the most shocking plots of the previous episode was that of Dean being thrown into a room with hungry ghouls by the Demons. I have to be honest that this scene scared the wits out of me, not only for its brilliant execution, but also for its thrill quotient.

It was spine tingling to watch Dean solely encountering these evil creatures and there seemed to be no possible escape for him.
