Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are coming to the big screens together as two pencil pushing detectives with a dream. They would like to be the city's top cops, something they have been idolizing for a while now.
Let's back up a bit. This movie is directed by Adam McKay, the one who's responsible for a lot of the funnyordie.com funny skits like "The Landlord" also starring Will Ferrell. He's also written a few SNL skits. The comedy in this movie has a very similar style to the short vids on Funny or Die, which is great.
Allen Gamble and Terry Hoitz (Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg) are the two detectives that have been working at their desks for too long now, waiting to get their chance at being the top cop of NYC. They look up to Christopher Danson and P.K. Highsmith, the baddest and most respected cops of New York City (played by Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson).
When they get their chance at showing what they can do, nothing seems to go right and everything goes as a good comedy film would.
I can't wait for the release of the movie because I will watch The Other Guys streaming right from my computer. You can actually stream the movie from your Xbox as well. I'm going to watch the movie in my boxers, comfortably at home while munching on some popcorn. And you can be sure I'll be laughing the whole time at Will Ferrell's funny character.
It's quite simple for anyone to watch The Other Guys completely free online. You can really enjoy this movie anywhere and anytime, from your bedroom or from the kitchen on a laptop. I prefer the bedroom with a snack and some milk.
