The movie will bring together two of the most well-acclaimed stars of all time in a captivating tale of unexpected romance. The central characters of the movie are Elise Ward, played by Angelina Jolie, and Frank Taylor, played by Johnny Depp.

The plot will begin with their paths crossing at Venice, Italy, where they'll both be, for different reasons. While Elise will be there on a mission to protect her former criminal lover from getting caught, Frank will play the American tourist', who has landed in the magnificent city in an attempt to mend his broken heart.

This will happen as a series of inexplicable manipulations are unleashed, going on to trap Elise and Frank in a whirlwind of danger and intrigue, that will make their forged romance turn into a real one, without them even realizing it.
