Water is an essential element for our life. It is important to drink clean and pure water to stay healthy. A water dispenser or water cooler is a machine which dispenses water at different temperatures. It can dispense cold water, hot water or water at the room temperature. Usually, there are two types of dispensers, bottle-less water dispenser and the bottled water dispenser.

Bottle-less water dispensers are fitted into the exiting water line and they dispense water after little filtration. On the other hand, bottled water dispensers can be placed anywhere as they use large bottle (3-5 gallons) and dispense water through taps. Bottled water is often more clean and pure than the direct water supply. Still, this water is made cleaner by filtering it in the dispenser.

Now days, bottled dispensers are more into use because they are free standing. You need to place the bottle in the inverted position into an opening over the dispenser; Water is dispensed by pulling a spigot lever or pushing a button. You can obtain these bottles from the market easily or can obtain from a water delivery company in your area. These bottles are made from high quality plastic.

There are several companies which are providing high quality water dispensers. Also, there are different models of water dispensers available. These models have different colors, sizes and types. There are counter top models or the floor models. Floor models are more popular as you might have seen in offices, stores or even in homes. You can choose from white, black or stainless steel water dispensers.

Water dispensers are also getting advanced with new added features.They have features to dispense the hot and cold water in a controlled manner. In the summers you can get chilled water from its cold water spigot. If you want to make that chilled water little bit less cold, add little hot water from the hot water spigot. If you want hot water instantly for making instant food like soup, tea or coffee, get hot water instantly from the hot water spigot.

All these water dispensers need electricity to run. They need to be plugged into an electrical source.To gather the excess water dripping from the spigots, there is a small drip tray. You need to dump that water occasionally.

While purchasing a water dispenser, take care of child safety features to avoid accidental burning due to hot water. Also, spigots are better than the push buttons. You can search online to know about various brands and models of water dispensers.
