Water Heaters That Make "shower Shock" An Event Of The Past

Starting the day with no hot water can happen when conventional water heaters can't

keep up with demand, particularly in a house with multiple family members. But with a tankless electric water heater, you'll never be left shaking in the shower again. It's all because tankless water heaters produce hot water on demand, instantly.

In a year, a lot of water is wasted waiting for it to turn hot. Also, with bulky conventional tanks, water is heated whether you're using it or not, and if it's all used up there's a waiting period before it's hot again. This is an expensive and wasteful method to make cold water warm. Tankless electric water heaters can be installed under the sink with both venting and gas lines not being a requirement. The reason for the nearly instantaneous hot water is because the water heater is located close to a tap. These water heaters can be used in various situations, and they provide hot water in 3 seconds, independent of the water intake's original temperature. There's also no reduction in temperature over the time the water is being used.

In contrast to conventional water heaters that have heating elements immersed in water that eventually need replacing, the tankless variety uses a low watt density thick-film element, molecularly bonded to the outside walls of a stainless steel heating chamber. By having no contact with water the element has a considerably longer life, and although it heats water faster, it's cooler because of the element's larger area to volume. This technology saves from 10% to 40% of the costs to heat large volumes of water in a conventional water heater.

The temperature range of tankless water heaters is adjustable from 90(F to 140(F, with some models providing the feature to monitor water flow rates, incoming water temperature and electric usage. They also can come with a USB port to provide an easy way to upgrade the system. Tankless water heaters are green machines with a 99% efficiency rating with zero emissions, making them eligible for regional green building and energy programs.

Running out of hot water doesn't have to be part of your daily routine anymore if you purchase one of these tankless water heaters. You'll have a reason to sing loud and proud in the shower!
