Manufacturers like Delta and Kohler offer fixtures designed to use about 20 percent less water than standard fixtures. And Grohe boasts WaterCare products that reduce water consumption by up to 30 percent (WaterCare is part of the larger WaterSense program).

To find a WaterSense-rated kitchen faucet, just look for the WaterSense logo.

And if you're not ready to swap out your old fixture for a more efficient one, but you'd still like to save water, think about adding a low-flow aerator-an option on many brands and styles ofkitchen faucet.
