Water Treatment Of Hypertension
High blood pressure or hypertension is a condition in which the bodys systolic blood
pressure averages 140 mmHg or higher, and/or its diastolic blood pressure averages 90 mmHg or higher. Diastolic pressure is vascular pressure when the heart is at rest, while systolic pressure is the force exerted by circulating
blood against the walls of the arteries, arterioles, capillaries and veins when the heart is contracting. High blood pressure can either be primary or secondary. Primary hypertension has no known organic cause unlike secondary hypertension which can be traced to ceratin organic conditions such as pregnancy, heart disease or kidney ailments.
Th traditional treatment for high blood pressure is to take hypertension medicine like diuretics, alpha and beta blockers, ACE inhibitors and vasodilators. However, these synthetic medicines can cause many harmful side effects.
Fortunately, hypertension has been found to respond dramatically to a neglected natural blood pressure cure consisting of nothing more than the correct intake of water with a little salt. In a revolutionary finding by Fereydoon Batmanghelidj, M.D, he has ascertained from anecdotal and medical studies that water with a litle table salt added can prevent and help cure both primary and secondary hypertension.
In his book, Your Bodys Many Cries For Water, Dr. Batmanghelidj proves conclusively that hypertension is simply a state in which the body adapts to a generalized drought where there is insufficient water in filling all the blood vessels that diffuse water into the vital cells of the body. As part of reverse osmosis mechanism, water from the blood serum is filtered and then injected into important cells via very tiny holes in their membranes. Just as intravenous "water" is used in hospitals, the body simultaneously injects water into tens of trillions of cells under normal pressure. However, if water is inadequate, the body will try to compensate by using more pressure to inject water form the blood serum into the cells. This is experienced as high blood pressure. Drinking the correct amount of water with enough intake of salt will lower blood pressure bringing it to normal again! This is the essential contention of Dr. Batmanghelidj.
Likewise, cholesterol is actually a life saving substance that is produced at higher levels in a dehydrated body. The purpose of cholesterol is to seal the cells to prevent waterloss. Once the body is properly hydrated, cholesterol level will normalize
Failure to recognize hypertension as a major indicator of the bodys dehydration and treating it instead with synthetic medicines will further cause the bodys dehydration. In time, dehydration will cause cholesterol blockage of the arteries as well as the arteries leading to heart attack, stroke and various neurological disorders like Alzheimer's disease.
