You will also need to keep the list free from getting cluttered with unnecessary or unwanted entries. Whatever the reason may be it requires editing and deletion. To arrange the listing or entry on your device in a neat and organized manner you need to de-clutter it and make it look neat. This requires making various changes in the existing entry list. This way you will also be able to create a new list with your favorites.

You need not be a tech expert to be able to make changes. This can be easily done by a novice or someone who has basic technical knowledge. It is relatively easy to work around the favorite list on your iPhone 4. No matter what version of iPhone you are using, it is easy to do it yourself without any hassles.

You need to know about two important things with regards to managing list.

1.Deleting an entry or a number from the Favorite list

2.You need to know how to organize the entries. This will also include the most dialed numbers list.

Let us first begin with the Favorites list:

First let us take steps for deleting entry or even reorder entries. You just need to take the following simple steps:

Tap on the Edit button

You will see the symbol of a red circle appearing on individual entry along with three horizontal lines

Tap on the red circle and you will see the horizontal lines turn to Delete button

Choose the entry one by one which you wish to delete

If you wish to keep an entry of contact or an e-mail id, then all you need to do is just tap the red circle again or on the done button to retain the entry in the favorite list.

Now if you wish to change the order of entries then you just need to go to the Edit mode, then drag and drop upward or downward as you wish to arrange the entry on the list. But remember that you need to drag upon the horizontal lines icon. When you are finished then tap Done. Your entries are now reorganized neatly just as you required.
