This seems quite obvious, but some business owners sometimes get excited, and with no malicious purpose, advertise their site in inappropriate places.

By abiding to a few simple common-sense and ethical guidelines, you can easily advertise your business without paying an arm and a leg, and you can also get away with the problematic accusation of spamming.
