Hands are written in shorthand such as K8 meaning king and eight off suit, or A9s meaning Ace-nine suited, or same suit. An example of good starting hands are AA, KK, AKs, QQ from any position. AQs, JJ, AK, TT, or AJs from the mid to late positions are good, too. Mid pairs and high ace suits should be played from the dealer position, if you get the chance.
