Ways You Can Make Outdoor Christmas Decorations Part 2
Well if you have read the first part of this series of article
, I'll assume you are back for more outdoor Christmas decoration tips. In the first article I explained how we can easily make three strips of Christmas colors from crepes paper to lighten up your holiday season mood. Well apart from those, there are also many simple decorative additions you can make to your outdoors.
One of these is handicraft vines that you can construct from simple material such as thick wires or ropes. These vines actually look quite cute and are flexible in where you can place them. Personally I like to attach them just below the windows on the outside of my house.
Materials you will need for these pseudo vines will depend largely on how you wish to construct them. Generally, there are two main ways in which you can craft them. In the first method, you may choose to pick thin metal wires. This is a good choice as they resemble the real thing quite a bit and are easily coated in green paint to look like vines. The alternative to wires would be ropes.
While ropes do not exactly look like vines, they are good generic decorative pieces that can be hung anywhere. Whichever you pick, all you need to do is to dip them in green paint and leave to dry for a few hours. Once you are done, you can stick them below your window ledges using transparent scotch tape. Remember to use a little imagination and entangle them here and there so they appear more natural.
And again, you have just completed another simple piece of outdoor Christmas decoration. If you find the vines too plain and boring, well then you should read the next article in the series to find out how you can throw on more deco additions to the vines.
