50 Plus million people in the usa alone depend on a food stamp subsidy, yet millions, in particular children, slip through the cracks. In other countries, children can be far less lucky and afflicted by sex trade, sweat shops, or sent out on the streets to beg and steal. Considering that we are in the hardest economy since the great depression it's not surprising that the first place people tighten up their costs is in their giving. Charitable donations are down typically 25% overall in 2010.
