The only nuisance with such sites is the download time that it takes for the files to be downloaded rather than the simple clean websites that tend to take less download time.

Unreadable text

This is one of the common mistakes that are encountered in most websites. Most web designers mess up in the matching of text size and color with the back ground color of the web. To match text color and web background, one has to put into consideration some of the common readability issues:

a) Low contrast text and background-Never use light colored text on a light background. Also, never use dark text on a dark background. Text is only readable with extreme contrast between the background and text. Take note, while choosing color you must ensure that the two colors you use match well. Black on white is really good for readability. Red on black is pretty bad.

b) Small text- Using small text size makes text content on a page look cool but its hard to read. if you use small text, make sure changing the text size in a browser. To override such issues, practice using style sheets that will not enable browsers ability to increase text size.

c) Text on a busy background- Putting text on a textured background makes it hard for the visitor to read. Practice using solid colored backgrounds for text.

Unpleasant designs

A good web design layout is a very important aspect to put into consideration in the field of web designing. A website that has an odd layout, many colors makes the web design unpleasant in the eyes of visitors.

Long pages

Putting down lots of information resulting into a long web page makes visitors to shift through piles of information to get what they want. This in the long run might make the visitor exhausted and loose interest thus moving away from your site. Content on pages shouldn't be long it should focus on a particular topic and related topics should be linked to another page.

Poor navigation

Pages that are easy to navigate through enable the visitor to access information in all pages easily. This results into users to enter your site from a search engine listing with a link other than your home page and get the required information from a particular page.
